Bu çal??mada dünyada yayg?n bir tar?m alan?na sahip muz bitkisinin (Musa sapientum) meyve hasad? s?ras?nda oldukça fazla miktarda olu?an gövde at?klar?n?n, ka??t endüstrisinde hammadde olarak kullan?labilirli?inin kimyasal ve morfolojik aç?dan uygunlu?unun ara?t?r?lmas? amaçlanm??t?r. Muz yalanc? gövdesinin ba?l?ca bile?enleri holoselüloz, ?-selüloz lignin s?ras?yla %77.5, %51.0 %12.7 tespit edilmi?tir. S?cak su çözünürlü?ü %17.3, so?uk %13.0, alkol %1 NaOH çözünürlük de?erleri ise %9.2 %33.3 bulunmu?tur. Lif uzunlu?u bak?m?ndan i?ne yaprakl? a?aç odunu liflerine, lif geni?li?i liflerine benzeyen at??? liflerinin dü?ük Runkel oran?, rijitlik katsay?s? Mühlstep oran? ile yüksek narinlik esneklik oranlar?na oldu?u Kimyasal analizlerden elde edilen sonuçlar, at?klar?n?n hamuru üretimi için uygun oldu?unu göstermi?tir.
